North of the Wall – Vatnajökull, Iceland
East of Reykjavik, is Vatnajökull, Europe’s largest national park, which boasts blue ice, and vast mountainscapes. This area was used to film many parts of the show beyond the wall, where the wildlings and white walkers lurk.

Balintoy Harbor in Northern Island has been the setting for the Iron Islands where the harsh and unforgiving landscape gives you a sense of being immersed in Westeros.

The Alcázar de Sevilla is used to film the private palaces of Prince Doran Martell in the capital of Dorne. There are green gardens and pristine 13th-century architecture where you can imagine yourself roaming the gardens with a Dornish Lord or Lady.
Astapor – Essaouira, Morocco
This Moroccan seaside city of Essaouira, found west of Marrakech in Morocco is the Essos city of Astapor. This is where Daenerys comes in contact with her loyal army of Unsullied.
